'Fifteen Minutes of Fame' - This is a well know quote that is said to be from Andy Warhol, thought it does derive from Warhol, the actual line was some what different - "In the future everybody will be famous for fifteen minutes." I felt that this quote really fitted in with my work, and everybody these days wanting to be rich and famous, mostly for doing nothing really that important.
I think that this piece works really well as even thought there is not actually a 'face' in the image, all the features create a sort of blank, hostile expression that really seems to work well with the text, and creates an nice contrast and juxtaposition. Also I like the fact that the actual images and features are from modern day celebrities.
